I recall when the prior IS debuted, there was heavy rumor of another Spertkrass. It was a lie.
I see a lot of MB S211/212/213 in that GS fantasy. Who owns the premium wagon segment?

The GS actually reminds me of the W213 Merc. Which is not a bad thing at all.

T he IS lines really translate well to that wagon body - but people would have still bought RXs...

Am I losing it, or was there a Sportcross variant of the second gen IS? I don’t recall it.
Oh, or maybe you meant the premium wagon. It has to be BMW/Audi/MB. I see a ton of T models when I am in Germany, too. On a global basis. I bet it is still MB.

I meant premium wagon...MB winning it? Not so sure. The VW group via Audi and Skoda are doing very well as is Volvo. The forthcoming Peugeot is a thing of beauty too.

I didn’t think of that way, wasn’t ranking a Skoda or Pug or even a Volvo on the level of a MB. Audi may start to approach it. A non-AMG E wagon can be loaded up to 100K USD (and probably has an average price around 75K USD) , kind of in a different league to me . And here anyway, they seem to have no issue selling their allotment.
